Teacher Training Apprenticeship Program
Our program is not just a check list of beginner pole moves.
You will learn what it takes to safely lead your own Pole Trix style Intro to Pole/Beginner Pole class or series. The focus of the program is solid, safe technique while fostering the unique, fun, supportive environment we have at the studio. You will learn many teaching methods and tips to help you introduce brand new students to pole fitness/dance. You will also be introduced to knowledge of general studio management and maintenance, marketing, and more.
Commitment

Six to twelve months to completion of apprenticeship training.

Twelve “classroom” hours in person.

Minimum Twenty hours of assisting/shadowing classes.

Minimum 100 hours of teaching classes.

Minimum twenty hours of administrative work in studio.

Minimum two cleaning shifts.

Homework after classroom sessions. (time varies)

Self evaluation. (time varies)

Final individual evaluation and recommendations. (time varies)

Instruction and supervision during the apprenticeship program.

Feedback and support after the apprenticeship program.

Binder of notes, forms, list of pole spins/poses/tricks to teach.

Studio access.

Pay in full before September 4th, 2023 for a $100 discount.
Requirements

Six months of pole fitness/dance experience.

Current member of Pole Trix or a Pole Fitness/Dance studio training regularly.

Group Fitness certification an asset, but not required to start. (Is required by most insurance companies)

Basic anatomy knowledge, or a device with google.
Needed

Commitment to attend all classroom hours.

Commitment to teach scheduled classes as agreed to.
